Data security that follows data lineage across endpoints, SaaS, cloud, and AI tools
Cyberhaven is an AI-native data security platform that traces where data comes from and where it goes, across endpoints, SaaS, cloud, and AI tools.
Its foundation is data lineage. The platform follows content from the moment it is created through every copy, paste, rename, and rewrite, so protection stays with the data even when it changes form.
That context is what separates routine work from exfiltration, and the company reports about 90% fewer false positives than traditional data loss prevention.
On that foundation Cyberhaven combines data loss prevention across email, web, cloud, USB, printing, and personal storage; data security posture management that discovers and classifies data across SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and AI platforms; and insider risk management that flags behavior such as departing employees hoarding files, with evidence for legal and HR teams.
Its AI security capabilities find shadow AI use, stop sensitive data from reaching AI tools, and monitor coding agents and MCP servers. The Linea AI analyst and a set of agents for configuration, classification, detection, and investigation take on much of the triage work.
Cyberhaven was founded in 2016 and raised a $100 million Series D in April 2025 at a $1 billion valuation, bringing its total funding to about $250 million.
